Glass Simulator Center staff consists of highly qualified corporate, charter, and airline pilots. These instructors deliver a professional training program enhanced by years of experience. We are proud to present such an established team of professionals:
Instructors
Chief Simulator Instructor – Arthur St. Arnaud has been flying for 34 years and worked in both the corporate and airline industries. As a certified Flight Instructor of Airplanes and as an evaluator in flight training devices, Arthur has accumulated nearly 10,000 hours of total time with 5,000 hours of dual given. As an Airline Transport Pilot, he flew more than 50 different aircraft. Arthur is a graduate of Kelly School of Business at Indiana University.
Simulator Instructor – Dave Koch has served as a professional pilot for over 40 years. He spent 22 years as a United Airlines Captain, and has accrued over 17,000 hours of flight time with type ratings in the B737, CL600/601, and S-58. From 1996 to 1999, Dave held the role of FAA designated training center evaluator for FlightSafety International.

Gold Seal Instructor – Andy Smith holds current CFI CFII MEI IGI ratings and has over 2,300 hours of dual instruction given. Andy has taught in everything from Light Sport Aircraft to Complex Multi-Engine Aircraft. He received a B.S. in Aviation Management from Minnesota State University and began flying 17 years ago.
Simulator Instructor – John Smith is a 2400hr MEII with 17 years flying experience. He holds an airframe and Powerplant certificate and FCC license. John is proficient in GNS 430 and 530 IFR operations and technically familiar with avionics and systems from C150 to B777. He is also qualified in the Falcon 20 as SIC and several turboprop aircraft, including the King Air 200. He received a B.S. in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University.
Simulator Instructor – Steve Treacy began flying over forty years ago, and has accumulated over 2,300 hours of dual instruction given. Steve graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Structural Engineering and received a Master of Science Degree from Aurora University. He currently teaches at Benedictine University.
Management
President – Dave Rosebraugh began flying over 40 years ago. He instructed from the late 60s through the early 80s. During this time, Dave saw the need for a training device (simulator) that couldteach flight procedures and emergencies in a safe environment. Dave decided to fill this need in 2005 and formed Glass Simulator Center.
General Manager – John McHughspent over 40 years in both corporate and FAR part 135 charter operations. With over 5,800 hours in most types of aircraft, John was a CFI, CFII, and MEII, and is typed in the Cessna Citation 500 series aircraft. Other experience includes serving as a chief pilot and director of operations. John was also a FAA authorized check airman in the King Air 90/100/200 series and the Piper Navajo.
