The Frasca TruFlite™ H is a high quality flight training device designed to be a representative of the characteristics of the Robinson R22 or R44 Helicopter.
Display Systems
The Frasca TruVision display system utilizes high-resolution technology to create realistic, fully textured airport scenes. Day/dusk/night conditions are portrayed as, are various weather conditions such as clouds, reduced visibility, and ground scud. Special effects such as landing-light lobes and conflicting traffic are also provided.
Helicopter Database:
A helicopter database includes specialized environments required for helicopter training, including various types of terrain, cultural and geographic features such as towns, roads, a helicopter airport, ect. Specialty operations areas unique to helicopter are also included such as confined landing areas, elevated landing pads, off shore platforms, hospitals practice fields, ect.

Aerodynamic Effects:
The Frasca TruFlite™ Helicopter Data Package includes the effects of aerodynamic changes for the various combinations of lift, drag and thrust normally encountered in flight. These correspond to actual flight conditions including the affects of attitude, thrust, drag, altitude, temperature, gross weight, center of gravity location, and aircraft configuration.
